Would the label biodegrade
without BDP®?
In short, yes. All plastics will eventually
biodegrade but it could take centuries.
BDP® speeds up the process at a huge
rate; after two months of testing our
label had already biodegraded by 12%.
Does BDP® use chemicals?
No – BDP® is made from organic
nutrients and compounds that are
food sources for microbes in nature.
Are micro-plastics left over?
Unlike oxo-degration additives, BDP® does
not simply break the plastic down into
smaller pieces. Instead, the microbes feed
on the plastic mass leaving only bio-gases
behind (CO2 + CO4).
