CUSTOMER CARE OFFICER (English speaking)

Tsunami Sport is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic self-starter to run our Customer Care Department with experience in customer service and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Applicants should be positive problem solvers who demonstrate a can-do attitude and are detail-focused in their approach to managing customer care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pre Production Handling: checking customer order information and understanding the needs, expectations and requirements of customers in special events
    Pre-Order Credit Control: managing customer account database
  • Customer Care Management: key liaison between the customer, sales team and supply chain for production status, post-sales services, quality and complaint handling and investigation
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively
  • Logistic Support: coordinating with our logistics staff on outgoing deliveries
  • Strategic Planning: Improving customer satisfaction, customer retention and service reliability
  • Review our current customer database, which is Excel based, recommend improvements to senior management for a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or similar, and implement agreed changes
  • Events Support: assist with planning, setup and delivery of key corporate and sporting events in Hong Kong and overseas for the company’s key sponsored events (e.g. previously has included Kowloon RugbyFest, Bali 10s, Darwin Hottest 7s and Flanders Rugby Festival)
  • Liaise with repeat clients to ensure their needs are met; this may occasionally include overseas travel.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in customer service, the garment/apparel industry or logistics management is preferred
  • A Degree holder is preferred, but not a must – we are looking for the ‘right’ person to fit with our multi-national team and global client base
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, friendly personality
  • Outstanding email and phone manner
  • Detail-oriented, having strong analytical and project management skills, highly organised in storing and compiling information and timekeeping
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office programs, intuitive with computer systems and online shop systems (e.g. we use WordPress, Woo Commerce)
  • Takes initiative to trouble shoot and improve procedural efficiency and accuracy
  • Native, or very good command of, English is a must with workable Cantonese and Putonghua of advantage to an applicant
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management software would be an advantage
